Ana Lay, Radiographer

Ana obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Medical Radiations in 1997 at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. She spent six years working at St Vincent’s Public Hospital, Melbourne, specialising in MRI in her last three years there. Since coming to the UK in early 2004, Ana has worked at the Hammersmith Hospital, Central Middlesex Hospital, and the Cromwell Hospital.

Ana brings with her 5 years of MRI experience, with expertise in the use of a Siemens Magnetom 1.5Telsa unit, and various series’ of the Philips Gyroscan Intera 1.5Telsa units. Ana has extensive experience in body, neurology, muscular-skeletal, breast, gynaecology and angiographic MRI, including the more advanced techniques of spectroscopy, perfusion/diffusion imaging, gamma knife, paediatric and cardiac MRI.

Ana will guide you through your MRI examinations and is responsible for your wellbeing during your time in the MR room.
