Dr Garry Savin, MBBS DRCOG MRCGP Medical Director

Dr Garry Savin trained as a doctor at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, London, qualifying in 1989. He spent 3 years in the hospitals of East London training to become a GP working in Accident & Emergency medicine, psychiatry, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology. He qualified as a GP in Enfield where he worked for many years and developed a passionate interest in preventative medicine. Since 1992 he has personally performed in excess of 16,000 health assessments in 8 different hospitals, making him one of the most experienced doctors in the field. He worked for Nuffield Hospitals Health Screening since its instigation and became National Clinical Advisor to Health Screening for five years.

Previously Dr Savin worked at the London Clinic in Harley Street for 6 years and at the Hospital of St John and Elizabeth in St John's Wood.

A keen 'explorer', he has travelled extensively and has been medical doctor on numerous expeditions to the developing world, including Nepal, India, Mongolia, the Amazon jungle and Borneo.
