Julie Morton, Lead Nurse

Prior to joining Preventicum, Julie Morton worked for three years within the Cardiothoracic ICU at Hammersmith Hospital as Senior Sister, where she was responsible for nursing post-operative elective and emergency Cardiothoracic patients. Previous to this Julie worked at Neath General Hospital for eight years as a Staff Nurse in the High Dependency Unit incorporating intensive care and coronary care patients. She has also worked at Hairmyres Hospital in their female surgical ward.

Julie became a Registered General Nurse in May 1994. She trained as a nurse at the Lanarkshire College of Nursing and Midwifery and she also has a Diploma in Nursing Studies and a Double Credit Diploma in Adult Cardiac Nursing from the University of Wales College of Medicine.

Julie’s role at Preventicum includes your blood, eyes and ears tests and looking after your wellbeing during your stay.
