Theodora Rao-Narkwa, Health Care Assistant

Theodora is one of our Preventicum HCA’s (Health Care Assistant) and will see you for your bloods, eyes and ears, body composition and will assist the medical team in the day-to-day running of the diary.

Theodora trained to be a State Registered Nurse in 1975 at the Herts and Essex General Hospital, in Bishops Stortford, Essex.

Following this she took a change of direction, working as a P.A. for a wholesaler in leather goods and later indulging her passion for dress design at the London College of Fashion and Design, Oxford Street.

In search of a further challenge, Theodora graduated as a mature student in BSc.Degree in Humanities, Science and Society at the University of Greenwich and went on to do a further Bachelor of Science, Honours Degree in Applied Biology, graduating in 2000. During the last year of this degree she was placed at the Greenwich District Hospital, within the Cardiac Department where she was actively involved in 2 Drug Research Trials: A.S.C.O.T. & E.U.R.O.P.A.

Since this, Theodora has worked at the London Clinic, at Harley Street and with Nuffield at Queen Anne Street and at St. John’s & St. Elizabeth Hospital as a Health Screening Technician.

Along the way, Theodora has taken time out to build a holiday home in her husband’s country, Ghana and to pursue her personal interests, one of which was to write her autobiography.  She loves travel, languages and discovering different cultures.
