"As the youngest director on my team, I approached my examination day expecting it to be a routine "tick-box" exercise to confirm I was in good health before going on holiday. Having no pre-existing issues, I generally felt great and was not expecting any significant findings. However, the experience proved life-changing.
The day began with in depth tests that were clearly explained through, instructions provided prior to my arrival. The staff was incredibly helpful, and I would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Willem for being so understanding and supportive.
During the process, an MRI identified a growth that was later diagnosed as a rare solitary fibrous tumor (SFT). Fortunately, it was caught in its early stages.
