If you are over 40 years old, without specific risk factors for breast cancer, your Preventicum Doctor may discuss the benefits of referring you to Miss Joanna Franks, Consultant Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon, for a detailed breast assessment. Miss Franks’ expertise lies in the assessment and management of benign and malignant breast conditions as she works to detect early breast cancers and perform breast cancer screening.

You will discuss your symptoms, personal and family history in a detailed, in-person consultation, after which she will recommend either mammography or digital ultrasound, depending on what is most clinically appropriate for you.
