Dr Gorney graduated with a 1st class degree from Trinity College, Cambridge University before completing her clinical training at The Royal Free & University College London Hospitals. She was awarded a Trinity College Research Scholarship & Senior Scholarship at the end of her undergraduate training and a Distinction in her final clinical exams.

After qualifying, Dr Gorney had further training in Acute Medicine and then General practice at UCLH and other central London hospitals. During this time she successfully became a member of the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of GPs.

She has also completed Diplomas in “Sexual & Reproductive Health” and “Tropical Medicine and Hygiene”, the latter informing voluntary work undertaken in Sub Saharan Africa. Aside from her medical qualifications, Dr Gorney is an accredited Relational Dynamics Coach.

Dr Gorney has spent the last 17 years practising medicine in inner city London in both NHS and private sectors. Outside of her clinical work, Dr Gorney is a GP Appraiser, delivers Coaching training to healthcare professionals and is a mother to two young children.
